Enfield's Ponders End Park gets refurb
Enfield Council has officially opened Ponders End Park after completing a refurbishment project.
A fountain, lighting and pop-up power points are among the improvements made to the site as the local authority seeks to make it more appealing to residents.
The quality of the green space could be a major consideration for anyone looking for flats to rent in Enfield.
Council leader Doug Taylor said: "The new look Ponders End Park will be a fantastic facility for all of Ponders End to enjoy and is part of the multi-million pound regeneration of the area."
He added the location is already one of the greenest in London and this latest development will only add to its reputation.
As part of the revamp, the Ponders End Creative Market will take place occasionally and jewellery, clothing and crafts will be made available - with Mr Taylor stating this brings a degree of economic certainty to the area.
