Area Comments

Quite simply one of the most stunning and impressive places to live in London, the Regents Park area isn't strictly an area as such - it instead takes in lucky, lucky properties from several others - but the landmark is so clear, and its benefits so good, that it might as well be.

On the borders between the Camden and Westminster areas, between Camden Town, Euston, Marylebone, Primrose Hill and Lords, Regents Park is a wonderful circle around which some of the nicest apartments in London are to be found. There are of course houses in Regents Park, but these are Crown Estate lands, and any actual houses here are so far out of reach of almost all normal humans, that it's best for one's sanity to concentrate on the beautiful, but attainable flats. Houses in Park Square Gardens, Park Square Mews and other areas are possible to find, but extraordinarily desirable with price tags and tiny leaselengths to match.

Around the edge of the park are mansion blocks of great size, with lovely aspects looking out over the greenery of the park itself. In any of these blocks around the Outer Circle of the park, in Cumberland Terrace, Chester Terrace and others, apartments are extremely desirable and accommodating for the young professionals and well-heeled theyre aimed at.

Living around Regents Park gives access to the funky environs of Camden, the genteel bistros of Marylebone, the upper class air of Lords and the wonderful Primrose Hill. It's a truly wonderful place to live, if you move very fast.
