Letting Agents in Preston HA3
Area Comments
Slap bang between Harrow and Wembley lies Preston, a very out of the way, oft-forgotten little suburb that really needs to be remembered and looked at a bit harder than it is. This is a friendly, flourishing little area that's got great houses and flats.
A small, but very lively centre provides some good shops, with all the necessities there on your doorstep, lining the Preston Road / Grassmere Road area leading up to the Preston Road station. Though to an extent bisected by rail track, Preston feels nicely contiguous, a small town centre close to the city. Whilst you can get most of the things you'll need here, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink, of course many choose to make the trip of a few minutes to Harrow or Kingsbury, and for shopping more widely than the necessities, there are good supermarkets nearby, but again, Harrow or the slightly longer journey (still only minutes) to Brent Cross is often a favourite.
Preston's green spaces are many, mostly small but pretty little parks and gardens. These frame long, curving streets of excellent 20th century housing (in the main) as well as some modern builds. As is typical of the region these are mostly in the form of medium sized semis, most with good gardens and parking.
A very typical area of the Harrow/Wembley region, Preston is a very pleasant and thriving little suburb with good facilities, whose houses are generally roomy and well made and where you can get easily into town, out to the country or to Harrow without any fuss and in very little time.
