It's quite simply a very diferent place. There are similarities of architecture - tall, white houses and long terraces - but overal West Ken has a more shabby chic than couture chic feel to it. North End Road is the main spine of the area, and along this slim spin are spun excellent bars and restaurants, funky cafes and a good spread of shopping. The Talgarth Road (as this section of the A4 is named) also features some stunning apartments in a gothic, airy style perfect for arty types but hard to get). But there are houses and plusher apartments in the streets further away from the main drags, with the North End Road (the area's main spine) worth exploring further - because as one leaves the bustle of the main street behind there are excellent, attractive terraces of houses that represent fabulous living solutions for families and investors alike.
