Winners of Harrow anti-bullying competition announced
The winners of an anti-bullying competition have been announced, families seeking to move to flats to rent in the London borough of Harrow may be interested to learn.
More than 500 children from the borough took part in the beat the bullies art campaign, which was organised by the Harrow Anti-Bullying Coalition (ABC).
The four winning pieces of artwork will be used to promote an anti-bullying message both online and in the borough's schools.
Vice chairman of Harrow Youth Parliament, Jordan Walcott, said: "We were completely overwhelmed by the number of entries we received. They were all brilliant and it was so hard to decide which ones should win."
The winning entries were from Oliwia Kajzer, Year 9, of Bentley Wood School; Hema Pindola, Year 6, of Stanburn School; Frances Parkinson, Year 2, of St John Fisher School and Samin Chowdhury, Year 1, of Newton Farm.
Later this month, a show called Shooting Stars that will showcase the talent of young comedians, singers, poets and dancers is to take place at Byron Hall in Harrow Leisure Centre.
