Which Brent resident will carry the Olympic Torch?
People living in property to rent in the London borough of Brent have the opportunity to submit their name to carry the famous Olympic Torch.
Around 8,000 torchbearers are needed to carry the Olympic Flame on its way to the London Games.
The route for the torch began at Lands End on May 18th and will work its way around the country before arriving in the capital in time for the opening ceremony on July 27th 2012.
People have until Wednesday June 29th to nominate someone from Brent to be one of the torchbearers at the momentous sporting event.
The London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games is on the hunt for inspirational people who have had an impact on their community to take on the role.
Those living in flats to rent in the London borough of Brent may still be able to watch the Olympics, even if they are not nominated to carry the torch on its route through the capital.
If they are lucky, they may have managed to get tickets to the men's 100m final, but more than one million people applied to attend that particular event and there are only 40,000 tickets available.
