Tenants could nominate landlord for award
Tenants happy with their lives in flats to rent in London may want to encourage their property owners to enter the National Landlords Association (NLA) Property Women Awards.
Criteria for entry states that the property owner must be female and they have to be involved in the private rented sector.
Property consultant Melissa Porter is one of the industry experts responsible for marketing the annual show, which aims to reward a number of landlords for their good work via various categories.
For example, the Association of Residential Letting Agents is sponsoring the Young Property Woman of the Year prize.
Ms Porter said on the official website for the show: "The awards are here to recognise best practice, regardless of how many properties you have or how long you have been running your lettings business."
They provide "a great opportunity" to show what methods it takes to be a successful landlord and "why women do it better".
