More young people 'choose to rent'
More young UK professionals are opting to rent a property, rather than buy one, it has been suggested.
According to the Residential Landlords Association, the UK's private rental sector is continuing to grow, which may be welcome news for people looking for property to rent in Eltham.
This is because more people are attracted to the flexibility renting a home can afford, with 11 per cent of adult Britons now renting a property.
And it is believed that over the next two years, this figure will rise to 14 per cent, the group claims.
"Landlords can look forward to what will almost certainly prove to be a long-term trend. Analysts predict that in less than a decade, 22 per cent of all Britons - or more than one in five - will rent a home," it adds.
And making life easier for tenants, the National Landlords Association recently launched an online database of all its members.
