London rental demand remains strong
Rental demand in London and the outlying areas is remaining strong, according to London Estate Agent David Lancaster.
He said that tenants are "crying out" for good rented accommodation, which is in "striking distance" of London, reports the website easier.com.
"Stocks are low and tenants move fast What we do have on our books is snapped up very quickly," Mr Lancaster told the website.
He went on to say that uncertainty in the property market is behind some of the increase in demand.
"At the moment, many can't find anything to buy at what they consider to be the right price," he said.
Statistics show that rental values are holding up well, with a four-bedroom house achieving between £1,250 and £1,750 per month in rental income.
This follows news that July and August have been particularly busy months for landlords and Estate Agents as tenants are keen to move in time for the new school year.
