Landlords e-learning programme launched
Landlords have been given a chance to improve their knowledge of the rental sector and enhance the service they provide by a new e-learning programme.
The web-based tool has been launched by the National Landlords Association to provide its many members with comprehensive information on all issues of letting property, from pre-tenancy through to ending a tenancy.
The first ever landlords e-learning programme of its type, the programme grants the opportunity to sit online modules and then test their knowledge with a short quiz.
Alison Perkins, landlord development manager at the NLA, said: "Residential landlords now have a structured way they can keep up-to-date with relevant changes that affect them and their properties.
"With this first ever e-learning tool created especially for landlords, they can also benefit from having a fully developed CPD [Continuing Professional Development] record which could authenticate their competence in the sector."
She added that the new resource would be invaluable to both small buy-to-let investors and large portfolio landlords, allowing the standards of rental accommodation to be raised across the UK.
