Harrow Council to stage free housing fair
People living in property to rent in the London borough of Harrow are being invited by their local council to attend a free housing fair.
Set to take place on Wednesday April 6th, the fair will provide information to residents to help them understand and prepare for changes in housing policy and benefit reform that are set to take effect soon.
Residents are also being invited to share their ideas on how future changes in housing should be responded to by the council.
Councilor Bob Currie, portfolio holder for housing at Harrow Council, said: "It is vitally important that we involve residents in decisions for the future, so the housing fair is a great way both to inform our people and to involve them in discussion and debate."
The event is to take place at the Kadwa Patidar Centre on Kenmore Avenue from 10:00 BST.
Earlier this week, those living in property to rent in the London borough of Harrow learned that three parks in their area had gained Safer Park Awards.
Harrow Recreation Ground, Roxeth Recreation Ground and Canons Park all gained gold awards.
