Brouxbbourne to hold St George's fun day
Families living in flats to rent in the London borough of Broxbourne and other property in the area are being invited to take part in a number of free activities on St George's Day.
On Saturday April 23rd, the mayor of Broxbourne, councillor Mark Mills-Bishop, will open the fun day at Grundy Park Leisure Centre.
"There will be a variety of free activities throughout the day, including face painting, basketball and swimming," the council's website states.
For a small fee, people will also be able to use a climbing wall, fairground rides and a bouncy castle.
A variety of arts and crafts activities will also be taking place and children will be invited to get involved.
In the leisure centre, adults will be able to take part in free taster sessions of Zumba, scuba diving and canoeing.
Earlier this week, Broxbourne Council announced that tired highways, verges and shrub beds near to property to rent in the borough are to be improved.
