Brent celebrates Fairtrade Fortnight
Brent Town Hall is hosting an event this Thursday (March 3rd) to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight.
People who live in flats to rent in the London borough of Brent might want to attend the fair, which will be taking place from 17:00 to 20:30 GMT.
There will be various films on show, as well as African and Caribbean food on offer.
MP Sarah Teather, minister of state for education, will be giving a talk, as well as Ben Ramsden, founder of Pants to Poverty.
People living in property to rent in the London borough of Brent will be able to purchase fairtrade products at the event and find out more about the concept behind it.
Fairtrade Fortnight kicked off on February 28th and it will continue until March 13th.
This year, the organisers of the event hope the nation will take part in events to raise awareness of fairtrade, which the planners say offers 7.5 million people living in developing countries a more secure future.
