Bexley families 'can apply for nursery places online'
People living in property to rent in the London borough of Bexley and who have a child that was born between September 1st 2007 and August 31st 2008 can now apply for nursery places online.
The E-Admissions website makes the application easy but it is also secure.
Applicants do not need to supply evidence of address as the details provided can be checked against council tax records.
Deputy leader and cabinet member for education councillor Simon Windle said that he is pleased that an online admission service is now on offer in the borough for all levels of education.
"We are one of the first London boroughs to be able to do this and encouraging more efficient methods for administration is one of Bexley's key aims for Strategy 2014," he added.
Earlier this month, Bexley Council announced that it was reviewing whether the library service it provides is worth the £5.5 million that is spent on it each year.
