London nominees named for NLA Property Women Awards
Representatives of the private rented sector in London have been nominated for a national award.
Barbara Gwyer, Kate Partridge and Valerie Pierres have been deemed the three best female property professionals in the capital and one of them will be named as the city's Property Woman of the Year at a special ceremony later this month.
The National Landlords Association (NLA) Property Women Awards has been organised to recognise the achievements of the UK's burgeoning female property professional population.
Some residents of flats to rent in London may have come across the trio of finalists while living in the city.
As well as the local prize, the women are competing with their peers from across the country for the national Property Woman of the Year 2009 accolade.
There is also an award being handed out to the most environmentally-friendly property representative and a prize for the Young Property Woman of the Year - the latter is sponsored by the Association of Residential Letting Agents.
