Waltham Forest Literature Festival approaches
People living in flats to rent in the London borough of Waltham Forest are being urged to attend the area's upcoming literature festival.
The festival is set to take place from Thursday May 12th to Saturday May 21st.
True crime expert Linda Stratmann is to give a talk at Walthamstow Library on May 12th from 19:00 - 20:00 BST.
On May 16th from 19:00 - 21:30, Leytonstone Playreaders will perform Broken Glass by Arthur Miller at Leytonstone Library.
Later in the week, in the evening of May 19th, author Carolyn Clark will give a talk about the history of East London and her book Shoreditch Tales at Hale End Library.
Councillor Geraldine Reardon, Waltham Forest's cabinet member for leisure, arts and culture, said: "The literature festival always proves to be enormously popular, and I'm sure this year will be no exception."
Last month, Waltham Forest Council and Haringey Council agreed to share services designed to get local residents into jobs.
