Tenants looking for schools may choose to rent flats in Redbridge
Parents looking for flats to rent in London may consider the borough of Redbridge, following the news two schools in the area have been praised for their implemetation of technology.
Churchfields Infant School in South Woodford was recognised for its use of equipment in making learning a more exciting experience for pupils, as well as allowing them to access schoolwork from home.
Gearies Infant School in Gant Hill set up interactive blogs to give parents a greater degree of involvement in their child's learning.
The two establishments beat off competition from 150 other places of learning to reach the finals of Becta's Nationwide ICT Excellence Awards.
Lesley Hook, headteacher of Churchfields Infants School, said: "We're thrilled to have won our award. It's a fitting reflection of the dedication shown by our teachers and the enthusiastic approach of the pupils."
Prizes given out at the ceremony included one for the best whole-school and another for leadership, management and collaboration.
