Tenants in flats to rent in Hillingdon could visit ice rink
People occupying flats to rent in Hillingdon with ambitions of becoming the next Jayne Torville or Christopher Dean - or just a desire to strap on a pair of ice-skates and have a go at the activity - may decide to spend some time at the borough's ice rink.
Individuals may be encouraged to try a triple toe loop after Hillingdon Council announced it is reducing admission prices across the board this winter.
In addition, a family ticket has been made available for 2010, which costs £20 for two adults and two children or one adult and three children.
At peak times older people can skate for £7, with younger individuals getting onto the ice for £5.50, while off-peak admission is priced at £5 and £3.50 respectively.
Tickets can be bought over the phone or on the day at the venue, which opened on Friday (November 26th) and is available until January 2nd.
Last week, the Somerset House Ice Rink was opened and will feature events that allow people attending to listen to DJ sessions while they skate.
