Tenant-landlord relationship 'starts early'
Landlords must know what kind of tenants they want to live in their home before buying a buy-to-let investment property.
At least that is according to Property Hawk website editor Chris Horne, who has suggested that any would-be landlord needs to do a lot of research about potential tenants ahead of purchasing bricks and mortar.
This would mean that a property professional buying in West London would need to know the sort of person who would want to reside in flats to rent in Notting Hill or property to rent in Kensington.
Mr Horne remarked: "[Landlords need] to do their research about what type of property they are buying, where they are buying, [as well as] making sure that there is enough rental demand."
Citizens Advice recently revealed there are around three million households that make up the UK's private rented sector, which highlights the popularity of property to rent in London and the UK as a whole.
