Special fun day for Haringey residents
People living in property to rent in the London borough of Haringey and others in the area will be able to head to Wolves Lane Garden Centre for a fun day this weekend.
Taking place on Saturday July 30th, people will be able to make the most of the gardens at the facility, as well as head to the cafe and butterfly house.
There will also be face-painting and a bouncy castle to entertain the youngsters.
Events at the centre, which is located in Wood Green, will kick off at 10:00 and will go on until 17:00 BST.
Recently, 16 council-run parks in Haringey were told they would retain their Green Flag status, which is an award showing they are among the top parks in the country.
The Keep Britain Tidy group praised the parks as part of its prestigious national scheme.
"It's fantastic that we have been able to retain our status," said councillor Nilgun Canver, cabinet member for the environment at Haringey Council.
