Sensory garden created in Bromley
A new sensory garden has been created close to property to rent in the London borough of Bromley.
The garden is located in Biggin Hill's Church Road Recreation Ground and is designed to be used as a communal meeting place.
Nearly £350,000 was awarded to the Biggin Hill Friends of the Parks for the project by Groundwork UK and the Big Lottery Fund's Community Spaces programme.
Bromley Council, in partnership with Biggin Hill Friends of the Parks, completed the project.
Derek Camp, chairman of the community group, said: "We wanted to bring something different to the recreation ground, something which can be used by everyone and something which can be appreciated by those who may have mobility or sight impairments."
Last week, improvement works at High Broom Wood were celebrated by those living in flats to rent in the London borough of Bromley and other property in the area.
