Residents in Wembley warned of parking restrictions
Residents living in property to rent in the London borough of Brent have been warned that event-day parking restrictions will be in place on Saturday June 4th.
England are playing Switzerland in a Euro 2012 qualifying match at Wembley Stadium, which is likely to cause some travel disruption to local residents.
From 08:00 BST to 00:00 BST there will be restrictions applied to the Wembley Stadium Event Day Zone, while in residential areas with 1.5 miles of the stadium, there will be parking restrictions imposed from 10:00 BST until 00:00 BST.
Brent Council advised anyone living in property to rent in the London borough of Brent, as well as other residents, to apply for event-day permits if they want to park in the area on days when matches and concerts are taking place.
Recently, the council announced it was preparing a strategy to develop the cemetery service provided in the local community.
