Redbridge residents offered free outdoor sports sessions
Those living in property to rent in the London borough of Redbridge are being offered the opportunity to take part in free outdoor sports sessions in the near future.
On Saturday April 2nd and Sunday 3rd, Fairlop Waters and Fairlop Outdoor Activity Centre is hosting an open weekend.
Those who visit the venue will be able to try their hand at a number of different activities, including power-boating, climbing, sailing and golf.
"The event marks the official name change of the former Fairlop Sailing Centre to reflect the range of activities available," a statement from Redbridge Council reveals.
A boulder park was recently installed at the centre so those wishing to put their strength and stamina to the test can give rock climbing a go.
Earlier this month, residents of flats to rent in the London borough of Redbridge celebrated 500 days to go until the London 2012 Olympic Games at a special event in Ilford Town Centre.
