Redbridge bookworms called to action!
Young bookworms living in property to rent in the London borough of Redbridge and other accommodation in the area are being urged to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge this year.
Children in the area will need to read six library books over the summer and they will receive stickers and rewards, as well as a special certificate and medal, if they manage to complete it.
Youngsters should pop into their local library in the borough to chat to staff about what they love reading before they take out their books.
The challenge kicks off on July 18th and the books need to be finished by September 10th in order for children to have achieved the goal.
It is a Nationwide reading challenge, which is organised by the Reading Agency every year.
Residents living in flats to rent in the London borough of Redbridge were recently called on to take part in the Redbridge Sustainability Forum in order to promote environmental issues in the area.
