Plans for Hornsey Town Hall unveiled
Plans for a town hall close to property to rent in the London borough of Haringey have been unveiled by the local authority.
Haringey Council agreed last week to restore Hornsey Town Hall, which is a Grade II listed building.
Once renovated, the town hall will become the new home of the MouNTView Academy of Theatre Arts.
Councillor Joe Goldberg, cabinet member for finance and sustainability at Haringey Council, said: "There will be community access, a fantastic arts programme and an influx of students and visitors which will bring vibrancy and culture to the area. It really is a complete package."
Spaces in the building that are currently closed off will be opened to the public, including the old foyer, assembly hall, committee rooms and council chamber.
Last week, the council revealed to families living in property to rent in the London borough of Haringey that the finishing touches were being put to Heartlands High School.
