Olympics celebrations may boost interest in properties to rent in Haringey
A festival may be held in the London borough of Haringey as part of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games celebrations.
This could increase interest in flats to rent in London, as the event is expected to last for ten days in Finsbury Park, the Haringey Independent reports.
According to the news source, Haringey Council is in talks with a leading events promoter about staging a series of concerts and other activities to coincide with the sporting contest, although other venues are reportedly being considered.
Potentially attracting 200,000 people to the area, the festival is intended to "showcase the best of the country's offerings including its sports, lifestyle and tourist attractions".
Those seeking properties to rent in Haringey may also be interested in an article that appeared recently on website Finsbury Park People highlighting the potential the park offers for burning off excess calories consumed over the Christmas period, covering 46-acres of ground.
