More property to rent in Haringey?
Some nine unused properties in Haringey could soon be on the market after the borough's council announced that it will be bringing the empty homes back into use.
Landlords looking to purchase property to rent in Haringey may be interested in the developments.
The decision to seek enforced sale orders for homes ensures the local authority will be able to recover unpaid council tax and help clean up the area as a whole.
Cabinet member for housing John Bevan said: "Vacant properties have a negative effect on the local area and these properties are not only vacant, but are in a very poor state, causing serious problems for neighbours in terms of security."
At least one of the properties has been empty for 16 years, a statement from the council revealed.
Residents of property to rent in Haringey are in close proximity to the home of Tottenham Hotspur, White Hart Lane, which gives them access to Premier League football.
