Lambeth residents to have their say on local libraries
People living in property to rent in the London borough of Lambeth are being given the chance to have their say on the future of libraries in their area.
Two public meetings are to take place this month, where attendees will be able to set the agenda.
"We are asking local people and community groups to engage with us over the coming months in order to decide what a modern and effective service can look like in Lambeth," a statement from the local council reads.
On Saturday (June 4th), the first of the two meetings will be held from 10:00 to 13:00 BST at the Assembly Hall in Lambeth Town Hall, Brixton.
The second of these meetings will be held on June 14th from 18:30 to 21:30 at the same location.
Earlier this month, public exhibitions were launched, allowing those living in flats to rent in the London borough of Lambeth to find out more about proposals to dramatically improve Lower Marsh in the heart of Waterloo.
