French market comes to Bromley
People living in flats to rent in the London borough of Bromley who enjoy experiencing different cultures and delicacies had the opportunity to attend French markets in their area at the weekend.
Taking place in Orpington and Beckenham town centres, the French markets featured pastries, sweets cheeses and much more.
Other stalls offered speciality French breads, meats, jams and preserves.
"Having a market creates a real buzz," said Nicola Musto, Beckenham town centre manager.
She went on to say that markets such as these give people the opportunity to enjoy the Spring weather and their local area.
The markets took place at Orpington High Street, opposite the Post Office, on Friday and Saturday and then Beckenham Green on Sunday.
Earlier this month, Bromley Council confirmed in its formal budget for 2011/12 that its residents are to continue to benefit from one of the lowest council tax levels in the whole of London.
