Covent Garden restaurant wins prestigious award
An Indian restaurant in Covent Garden has been given the prestigious London Restaurant Award 2008.
Sitaaray - which combines cinema and cuisine - was the only Indian restaurant among the Evening Standard's 60 Under 60 Pounds winners.
Covent Garden is located in both Westminster and Camden boroughs and is renowned throughout London for its excellent food, shopping and bars.
Rohit Khattar, managing director of Sitaaray, told the Press Trust of India: "Being recognised by the leading industry awards in London is not only a high accolade for a restaurant that is operated by an Indian company but is also proof of the restaurant's commitment to providing value for money without compromising quality."
Restaurants are not the only attractions Camden and Westminster have to offer, with the latter being home to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.
Figures published on Wednesday (September 3rd) showed that Kingston-upon-Thames was the London borough with the lowest crime rate, making it an attractive proposition for renters.
