Christmas tree lighting could be attended by people in flats to rent in London
People living in flats to rent ion London may decide to head down to Trafalgar Square and watch the Christmas tree lighting ceremony that is taking place there today (December 2nd).
Every year, the people of Norway donate the tree to individuals living in London in appreciation of the support offered by England to their country during the Second World War.
From December 7th to December 22nd, the Christmas tree will provide the backdrop to the traditional carol-singing programme that takes place in Trafalgar Square.
Everyone is welcome to take part and join in, including those occupying flats to rent in boroughs all over London.
During the services, a variety of different groups will be attempting to raise money for charitable or voluntary organisations.
Another activity which may be visited individuals living in Hillingdon is the temporary ice rink that has been erected in the area, which has cut its admission prices for 2010.
