Broxbourne unveils new community website
People living in property to rent in Broxbourne may be interested to hear that the local council has developed a community website.
Initially covering the Cheshunt and Waltham Cross area, the site will contain information about organisations, facilities and businesses in the borough, as well as crime statistics.
Also present will be details about accommodation and tourist attractions, plus the area's history and heritage.
The content has been collated from existing websites, publications and links to other sources.
Data comes from Broxbourne Council's Resource Inventory, the local police force's crime statistics website and Hertfordshire County Council website.
In addition, there is information about shopping centres, parking prices and links to business search tools.
The website is an ongoing project and residents are asked to visit it and suggest content and additional information that they would like to see in the future.
Earlier this month, Broxbourne Council published an updated guide to services for older people in the area.
