Bromley improvement project celebrated
Changes made as part of an improvement project have been celebrated by those living in property to rent in the London borough of Bromley.
This community woodland celebration took place in High Broom Wood and featured a number of environmental activities plus an appearance from renowned chainsaw artist William Lee.
The year-long project to improve woodland access and infrastructure has seen two new bridges built over the River Beck, wheelchair access added and new entrances created.
"Thanks to the outstanding work of the local Friends group this woodland area has improved virtually beyond recognition," said councillor Colin Smith, executive councillor for environment at Bromley Council.
"It is a shining example of how vital partnership work is across the borough," he added.
Earlier this week, the new Orpington library opened to those living in the area, including people living in flats to rent.
The new library is located in the Walnuts precinct of Orpington town centre.
