Barnet Council 'listens' to residents of flats to rent in Finchley
Residents of flats to rent in Finchley are being offered the chance to give their views to their local authority.
Barnet Council has revealed that its Leader Listens programme will be expanded, with supermarket shoppers being encouraged to provide feedback.
The first of these will take place tomorrow (April 25th), with leader of the council Mike Freer taking up a position at a stand in the Sainsbury's store on Finchley Road.
Residents will be able to express concerns and communicate ideas about how to make the borough a better place to live and Mr Freer noted that it has achieved success in the past.
"Issues raised during Leader Listens meetings have directly shaped the thinking behind the policies we deliver to improve the lives of our residents," he said.
Barnet Council recently launched a new 'teenage room' at East Finchley Library, with games consoles among the features aimed at young people.
