Haringey garden centre becomes top school trip venue
London borough of Haringey as it has been approved as a venue for school visits.
The Wolves Lane Horticultural Nursery in Wood Green has been awarded a Learning Outside the Classroom quality badge.
This means that teachers and pupils can be assured that they will be given a high-quality education experience when they visit the nursery.
Councillor Dilek Dogus, cabinet member for adults and community services, said that the Wolves Lane Nursery is not just a great place for schools to visit, but families too.
"It provides valuable lessons about a range of issues – including what can be done to save the rainforests and how we can help the environment locally," he added.
Earlier this month, a selection of photographs taken by young people from the London borough of Haringey were put on display at the Bruce Castle Museum.
