Sutton residents have access to some of the best UK parks
Residents living in property to rent in the London borough of Sutton, along with others in the area, have access to some of the best parks in the whole of the country.
The Oaks, Cheam and Grove parks have all retained their Green Flag status this year and Manor Park has picked up the accolade for the first time.
Due to the fact four parks have received this prestigious status, the borough has been recognised as one of the greenest in London.
Councillor Graham Tope, Sutton Council's executive member for community safety, leisure and libraries, said: "Our parks are a credit to the Friends groups and staff who put so much hard work and care into their local open spaces. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all for their effort and dedication."
Budding filmmakers in Sutton this week showcased their work at the Film London in 90 Seconds competition.
Sutton's winner was Aidan Sheridan, 23, who said he was "absolutely delighted to have won".
