Surbiton Farmers' Market returns with new stalls
Those occupying flats to rent in Surbiton will be able to once again visit the local farmers' market when it recommences after its winter break later this month.
Surbiton Farmers' Market returns to Maple Road on February 18th 2012 and will be held on the third Sunday of each month throughout the year, offering produce from 26 stalls.
New stall additions for 2012 include Brambletye Fruit Farm, which sells delicious fresh fruits, purees and jams, as well as Ruben's Bakehouse and Just Desserts, both of which will offer a range of delectable snacks and speciality goods.
The market is organised by local community members and has won numerous awards, including the Kingston Business Award for commitment to the community, while also reaching the final of the 2012 Farmers' Market of the Year Awards.
Market volunteer Sarah Taylor said: "We look forward to another successful year to come and to welcoming new visitors as well as our regular supporters."
Other goods available from the market include meat, fish, vegetables, cakes and pies.
