New school opens in Tower Hamlets
A new secondary school has opened in Bow, which could interest families moving to flats to rent in the London borough of Tower Hamlets.
St Paul's Way Trust School features an innovative design, which has already been long-listed for a World Architecture News Award 2010.
Lutfur Rahman, the mayor of Tower Hamlets, said: "I'm committed to improving education in Tower Hamlets and this new building means that St Paul's Way Trust School boasts some of the best learning facilities in the country."
He went on to say that the school will not only benefit young people, but the wider community too due to its "unprecedented amount of new facilities".
The general public will be granted access to facilities on the ground floor, which include a library and sports complex.
A new after-school club for all young people aged five to 11 was launched in the borough last week at the children's play park in Locksley Street.
