More restaurants sign up to Westfield
Wagamama, The Real Greek and Leon have become the latest restaurants to secure a plot in the forthcoming Westfield London shopping centre.
The massive project is not due to open until this Christmas but a long list of eateries and retailers have already confirmed they will have a presence in the Shepherd's Bush development.
"The mix of outlets will range from high-end cafes and restaurants through to market-style gourmet food kiosks, family restaurants and coffee shops," commented Keith Mabbett, leasing director for Westfield London.
With a price tag of some £1.6 billion, the shopping centre will boast an incredible 150,000 sq m of retail floor area and looks set to become one of West London's most popular shopping haunts.
It comes alongside the development of two new Tube connections in the immediate area - Wood Lane (Hammersmith and City line) and Shepherd's Bush station on the new London Overground.
According to the National Housing Federation, house prices in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham - which includes Shepherd's Bush - have risen 213 per cent over the past decade.
