Merton residents urged to join community forums
People living in flats to rent in Merton have been invited to participate in the local council's forthcoming round of community forums.
A series of meetings will take place in each of the borough's town centres and will address a number of issues affecting people in the area.
There will be question and answer sessions with council leader Councillor Stephen Alambritis, deputy leader Councillor Mark Betteridge and cabinet member for finance Councillor Mark Allison.
Wimbledon is to host to the first forum at 19:15 BST on Tuesday September 6th at the Mansel Road Centre.
After that, meetings will be held in Raynes Park Library in September and Merton Civic Centre, North East Mitcham Community Centre and Vestry Hall in October.
Merton Council leader Councillor Stephen Alambritis said: "Listening to our residents has always been a key part of how the borough works and this year we really want to hone in on key issues and ensure that everyone who takes part can benefit from the session."
Children who live in property to rent in the London borough of Merton were able to enjoy the Summer Reading Challenge earlier this year.
