Individuals in flats to rent in London may benefit from Christmas decoration tips
Individuals occupying flats to rent in London may wish to follow some cost-cutting tips one expert has recommended when decorating their home this Christmas.
Janet Eavenson, owner of Leonard Provence Interiors, said fairy lights can be inexpensive and go a long way thanks to being multi-functional.
She noted people may choose to put the illuminations in a glass bowl or inside a lamp to create an effective decoration, as a well as hanging them in the traditional way.
"For your centrepiece, you can get a big tray and just put different candlesticks and different sizes in it and that can actually be a centrepiece for you," she suggested.
Ms Eavenson added the festive season is all about making a home more inviting and warmer, something that can be achieved in part by using scented candles.
Last month, Clare Nolan offered some interior design tips in an article in the Daily Mail to help people improve their property's autumn mood - such as replacing light-coloured cottons with soft, sludgy shades.
