Flats to rent in Kensington and Chelsea may be popular as buying gets harder
Those looking for property to rent in Kensington and Chelsea may be more certain it is a better prospect than trying to buy after the release of the latest data showing how expensive it is to purchase a home in the borough.
Figures produced by property website Zoopla have revealed London as a whole leads the way in UK homes worth £1 million or more, with the tally of these growing 11 per cent in 2010 - nearly double the national rate.
And the Evening Standard noted half the homes in Kensington are in the seven-figure category, while Chelsea is among the other leading areas for high prices.
Those renting in the borough will be able to enjoy a range of advantages from doing so, such as very extensive transport links.
It is served by the Circle, District and Piccadilly Lines on the Tube, as well as the London Overground and national rail services.
