Female landlords 'view tenants as customers'
Residents of property to rent in London who have female landlords may be getting a different service to their counterparts who reside in homes run by male property professionals.
That is one of the findings from recent National Landlords Association (NLA) research, which suggests that lady landlords are more likely to treat their tenants as customers.
In a statement released by the NLA, it was claimed that women provide "better communication and a more supportive approach to dealing with their tenants", compared to male landlords.
This study comes ahead of the NLA Property Women Awards, which aim to celebrate the contribution made to the buy-to-let sector by the UK's female property professionals.
Various awards will be handed out this summer, including Green Property Woman of the Year and Young Property Woman of the Year.
The latter accolade is being sponsored by the Association of Residential Letting Agents.
