Christmas safety advice offered to people in flats to rent in London
With Christmas fast approaching, people in flats to rent in London may be purchasing expensive gifts that they are keeping in their property until December 25th.
Hertsmere Council has noted that while the festive period is a time to relax and enjoy yourself, there are criminals looking to spoil the holiday season for others.
"Don’t forget everyday crime prevention measures just because it’s Christmas," said councillor John Donne, community safety portfolio holder at the administrative body,
"Traditionally more crime can take place during this period so please continue to be vigilant," he added.
People in flats to rent in London can take steps such as remembering to keep presents out of sight while they are in their home or car, lock doors and windows and make sure packaging for expensive items is not left in view outside.
Meanwhile, those occupying flats to rent in the London borough of Kensington & Chelsea could visit the markets in Portobello and Golborne that have been adorned with Christmas lights.
