Charlton plan Eltham charity walk
A charity walk with Charlton Athletic Football Club could give prospective tenants the chance to see some property to rent in Eltham that is located in the lesser known areas of the town.
The club is carrying out the event in collaboration with the Charlton Community Trust in order to raise funds for Demelza Care for Children.
Anyone with a "basic level of fitness" is invited to join the walk, which begins at 09:30 BST and follows an easily accessible route.
Participants are to follow the Eltham Green Chain Walk, a six kilometre route described as passing through South-East London's "hidden areas".
Tenants occupying property to rent in Eltham find their home located to the south of the borough of Greenwich.
Greenwich Council adds that 16 bus routes link with nearby communities, while road and rail connections are also good to the area.
On the third Sunday of each month, a farmers' market in Passey Place brings fresh seasonal produce to Eltham.
