Brent residents invited to join Sky Ride
Commuters living in property to rent in Brent may be interested to hear that the Mayor of London's Sky Ride is coming back to the area on Sunday September 4th.
The free event is designed to promote cycling, with a traffic-free circuit of Central London and a festival area in St James's Park.
A guided ride will take place into the centre from Brent on the day, which can be joined at 10:00 BST from Kensal Rise Railway Station, Gladstone Park Railway Bridge and Kingsbury Station.
There are several lead-in points in other boroughs too, making it easy to get involved.
"So why not get your bike out, enjoy the traffic-free day of riding around London and get fit and healthy at the same time," Brent Council suggested.
Last month, residents in Brent were invited to present project ideas to a panel of 'community dragons', an idea inspired by the popular BBC programme Dragons' Den.
