Artwork to be viewed by people in flats to rent in Greenwich?
People living in flats to rent in the London borough of Greenwich may wish to visit an event showcasing work by over 100 artists.
Second Floors Studios and Arts (SFSA) will open its doors to the public at its premises in Warspite Road, Woolwich later this month.
Individuals wishing to view the work of fine and visual arts professionals can gain entry to the venue on Thursday November 18th and over that weekend.
Many of the pieces on display - produced by a range of artists from sculptors to mosaic experts - will be on show for the first time.
SFSA project director Matthew Wood stated: "The open studio is a rare chance to see professional artists at work, to meet with them, ask them about their inspiration, techniques and work."
Founded by Mr Wood and Kelvin O'Mard in 1997, the group was established to provide affordable space to work in locally as a result of their own personal struggles to find a financially viable place to create art.
