Wandsworth renters 'can help charity scheme'
People considering property to rent in Wandsworth may be interested in a charity scheme that helps local children and teenagers.
The rental income from two apartments located at Queen Mary's Place on Roehampton Lane will be donated to Give It Away over a two-year period, with funds supporting teenagers living in the Wandsworth and London areas, classified website Easier.com reported.
"I know and like the area and the whole development has an excellent quality feel to it," said Charlotte Grobien, founder of the charity.
Following the two-year endeavour, she intends to sell the properties, donating any additional profit for the charity.
According to Londontown.com, the Richmond Park public golf course is located a 13-minute walk from Roehampton Lane.
The facility, located at Roehampton Gate, is described by the web portal as the best "pay and play" venue in London and features two courses which have "long been popular" with non-golf club members.
