Tube satisfaction reaches record high
Residents of property in London are more satisfied than ever with the London Underground, figures have indicated.
According to new ratings released by Transport for London (TFL), the average traveller gave a score of 79 out of 100.
It comes as the Tube was named Best Metro in Europe at the prestigious Metro Awards, beating the likes of Paris and Copenhagen.
Commenting on the victory, Mayor Boris Johnson remarked: "Despite the challenges of weekend engineering works, Londoners know the value of the Tube and why we are investing billions to improve it."
Those living in flats to rent in Clapham may also be making more journeys on the underground network, as TFL revealed that passenger numbers reached a record high in 2008-09.
Last month, the body announced that changes to the Circle Line will see the frequency of services between Hammersmith and Edgware Road doubled later this year.
