Residents in flats to rent in Wandsworth can have their say
Tenants occupying flats to rent in Wandsworth are being given the chance to view proposals for a super sewer that is set to be built in the area.
From tomorrow (December 7th) a two-day exhibition will be on show at the London Wetland Centre in Barnes, giving attendees the opportunity to look over the plans and pose questions to the project team.
According to Wandsworth Council, Thames Water recently confirmed that just 1,000 Londoners had responded to the period of consultation which is taking place between itself and the public, despite the far-reaching implications the scheme could have.
In addition to the chance to view what the intentions of the project are, individuals can meet a representative from the utility company at 20:00 GMT at St Mary's Church in Putney on Thursday.
People living in flats to rent in Putney may have attended the turning on of the area's Christmas lights by Mercury music award winners the XX that took place on Friday.
